Firearm Files policy
Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you visit this site or purchase a Firearm Files digital publication.
Last updated August 2, 20261. Agreement
By using this site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms and any additional terms shown by the checkout provider. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase the product. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
2. Educational product
Buy Smart, Own Safe is a general educational planning guide. It is not legal advice, certified firearm instruction, gunsmithing guidance, a safety certification, financial advice, or a substitute for a specific manufacturer's manual. Laws, product information, and personal circumstances vary and change.
3. License
A completed purchase grants the buyer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the files included in the selected edition for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may print worksheet and card pages for your own use.
You may not resell, republish, distribute, upload, share publicly, sublicense, adapt for resale, or remove ownership and source notices from the product. Brief quotation for lawful review or commentary remains subject to applicable law.
4. Purchase and delivery
The sales page identifies what is included in The Playbook, The Field Kit, and The Complete Owner Library. Price, payment method, taxes, delivery, and receipt details are presented at checkout. The checkout provider processes payment and may apply its own terms. Access details are supplied after a successful purchase once delivery is connected and tested.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are handled under the published 7-day refund policy and any non-waivable consumer rights. The sales-page summary and the checkout policy should be read together.
6. Responsible use
You are responsible for verifying the law and other requirements that apply to your person, location, intended activity, property, transfer, storage, transport, and product. Use current official sources and qualified professionals. Never use the publication to bypass a law, safety rule, manufacturer instruction, or professional stop point.
7. Accuracy and updates
We work to make the publication clear and source-backed, but no publication can guarantee that every statement remains current or applies to every circumstance. The edition, research cutoff, source notes, and corrections process are part of the product. Check official sources before acting.
8. Intellectual property and names
The site and publication are owned by Firearm Files or used with permission. Third-party brand and product names may appear only for factual identification and remain the property of their owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
9. No guaranteed outcome
The guide does not promise a purchase result, financial saving, safety outcome, legal result, product suitability, or uninterrupted availability. Decisions and actions remain the reader's responsibility, subject to applicable law.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, the site and digital publication are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated at checkout. Firearm Files is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or reliance on the material. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated prospectively. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material product corrections are handled through the corrections process.
